Quickstep is an electrical qualification assessment centre covering England and Wales. Any experienced electrician needing their JIB gold card can gain their qualifications with us using our electronic internet based e-portfolio system using . No college, you just need to be working out on site!
Quickstep has been helping experienced electricians gain recognised qualifications for over 15 years and we enjoy a proven track record in this field with over 3000 certificated candidates to date.

The Level 3 Experienced Worker Assessment Route is a qualification designed for practising electricians working towards their gold card. For this qualification you need to build a portfolio of evidence and gain your 18th edition and initial verification.
Who Are We?
Quickstep was established in 2001 by an electrician with more than 25 years’ experience of contracting, training and assessment, we are an independent, private training provider who’s head office is based in Liskeard, Cornwall we have a candidate base throughout England and Wales, with a network of experienced assessors across the area, not forgetting our centre staff working from our Liskeard office.
We were approached by the JIB to assist in helping experienced electricians to gain formal qualifications to enable them to gain their JIB gold card
To date we have certificated almost 3000 electricians with the appropriate qualification so that they have been able to successfully apply for their JIB card
We cover the whole of England and Wales using a combination of site visits and our bespoke online electronic portfolio to enable achievement of the qualifications as quickly as possible.

Our assessors are first and foremost fully qualified experienced electricians who are JIB/ECS registered; having gained their assessor and verifier qualifications have now moved into assessing. Our candidates can benefit from the assessors experience of the process which they themselves have been through to gain the qualifications and in turn JIB/ECS card.
Our centre support staff are here to assist in the application process and also look after the administration side of portfolios liaising between candidate, assessor, internal and external verifiers and awarding bodies.
